Hello! I'm Charlotte, a product designer with 6 years of experience in UX & interaction design. I thrive on tackling complex healthcare challenges and have collaborated with clinicians to incorporate in-depth research insights that guide decision-making. My design philosophy is to prioritize usability while creating experiences that empower patients.

Currently, I am developing a culturally adapted psychotherapy experience in the form of a narrative expressive mobile game, built in Unity and guided by my dissertation research at Imperial College London x Royal College of Art, where I received my Master of Research in Healthcare Design. I went to New York University for undergrad where I studied studio arts and psychology. If these topics sound interesting to you, please don't hesitate to reach out via charlottewan.ux@gmail.com. I’m always trying to learn new things and collaborate.

When I am not at work, you can find me at my easel painting or at a pottery wheel making ceramic pieces for my friends. I enjoy making process-oriented paintings, both gestural and representational. For fun, I taught an art class at Somerset Elementary School (you can see the digital rendering of a painting the kids and I made below).
